The fitting of door locks, window locks and other forms of additional security will help to keep burglars out. In 20% of burglaries thieves gain entry through open doors and windows, so not only do you want the fitting of good, strong locks but you should make sure your doors and windows remain closed and locked.
We provide professional installation, door opening, lock repair, fitting and replacement service for all types of doors and windows, including garages, domestic roller-shutters and fire escapes. As professional locksmiths we will open your door by lock picking or drilling the lock, keeping any potentially costly damage to the surrounding door to a minimum.

Safe : We supply new and used safes from all major manufacturers including Chubb, Burton and SMP.Our very experienced and qualified team are able to open or service any safe, whether it is locked through lost keys or combination numbers, or if you are unable to open your safe through a fault in the mechanism.If you are able to send us a photo of the safe, and describe the problem, we can give you a fixed price quotation to resolve your problem. Even if you can’t send a photo, we can usually identify the safe by asking you a few questions over the phone.We change key and combination locks for your safe. We would recommend that if any safe keys have been out of your possession for any length of time, if staff have left your employment, or if keys have been lost or stolen, that you change your safe combination or lock. 

Safe Relocations : If you need a safe moving to a new position or location, we have an experienced team of safe removers who will perform the safe move in a safe and efficient manner.

Safe Rental : We offer a safe rental service; simply let us know your requirements and we will let you have a competitive quotation.

Safe/Vault Rooms: We can supply or build safe rooms for commercial or domestic premises aswell as panic rooms in houses. We will be happy to talk you through all aspects of your safe/vault, including bespoke details and added extras such as CCTV and electric locking systems.

CCTV Systems : The UK has the best coverage of our lives by closed circuit television (CCTV). It is used to monitor who enters the property, providing additional security for the owner of property, goods and vehicles.There are government guidelines on the use of video surveillance, but with a quote fom us, you will be within the current legislation.

Access control : Access control is one of the fastest growing security solution for domestic or commercial properties, as a secure, flexible and cost effective way of controlling who has access to your building and when that access is allowed, whether you do this remotely or door to door we can find a solution that will work for you.We can supply and install a wide range of systems from mechanical push button locks to digital cylinders, card, code, biometric or proximity 

Security Alarms : Alarms offer greater security and are therefore more expensive, but for the safety of you and your family, we believe it is worth the investment.We are happy to visit your home to discuss with you your situation and lifestyle, and give different estimates depending on the level of security you require within the budget you have available.We install the system with minimal disruption and damage to your property, give you comprehensive training in the use of the system and provide ongoing support and maintenance.

Door Locks : Two in three burglars gain access through a door. The following descriptions may help in understanding the difference between the most common domestic door locks and help identify the most suitable locks for your property.We also offer high security master keyed suites and keyed alike systems, from Kaba expert security locks to euro spec MP10.

Mortice locks : Mortice locks are embedded into the door itself and can only be opened with the key. They are commonly found on back doors and are often fitted to front doors in addition to a cylinder rim lock (Yale lock).Mortice locks can often be described as a deadlock or sash lock. A deadlock is a mortice lock which has just a key hole and a bolt. A sash lock has a bolt and a latch and a pair of handles.Mortice locks have several lever variations: a 2, 3, 5 or 7 lever mechanism. 5 lever and above can be British Standard or non British Standard. The higher the number of "levers" the more difficult the lock is to "pick" and the more secure it will be. 
Cylinder RimLockS (Yale Lock ) Most front door locks and internal door locks are cylinder locks, commonly known as ‘Yale’ locks, after one of the leading brands. If your front door locks automatically when you shut it and you need a key to open the door from the outside, but it opens without a key from the inside, then you have a cylinder rim lock (Yale lock).We will replace cylinders with lock cylinders of at least like-for-like quality, preferring to upgrade to a more secure high quality lock where necessary. In instances where keys have been lost or stolen, we would only change the cylinder of the lock.Cylinder rim locks are fitted to the surface of the door and are mounted on the surface of the inside of the door with a connecting cylinder, which is fitted into the door with the keyhole on the outside.Restricted cylinders provide physical protection against unauthorized key duplication, thus ensuring extra security to your property. Restricted keys guarantee keys can only be cut with the authorization of the owner usually within a security card system.We recommended the fitting of mortice locks to supplement cylinder rim locks, particularly on front doors.

PVC & Multi Points Locks : Most PVC doors are locked in multiple positions by the lift of a handle and the turn of a key. When lifting the handle you are opperating a multi point door strip which will seal the door. When turning the key you are opperating a euro cylinder which will phisically lock the door. Both of these mechanisims can be opened repaired or replaced.PVC doors meet most insurance requirements, however we would advise changing your Euro cylinder to a restricted or a 6 pin security cylinder.

Window Locks : One in three burglaries is through a window. Consider fitting high visibility window locks, so if a burglar breaks the glass the window locks will mean they still cannot open the window and risk injury climbing in through broken glass.Window locks should be fitted to easily accessible windows such as those downstairs and next to flat roofs and drain pipes. Remember not to leave the keys on show in the window locks.
