I have been a design professional since 1993, having grown up in Canada and started my international design career as an intern at ECART in Paris, Andrée Putman’s design studio at the time. After diverse roles in Paris, Montreal, and London, I took a leap of faith and moved to Dubai in 2006 to launch my own comprehensive residential architectural and interior design studio, Blanchard, with the support of the eponymous London office I had been working in for 6 years. The Dubai adventure allowed us to successfully explore a wide variety of scopes and budgets for a very diverse clientele, winning several awards, for design, sustainability and service, and positioning our studio as one to watch in such a competitive market. In 2012, I was ranked 9th Most Influential Designer in the Middle East, on Commercial Interior Design’s Top 50 Power List. Based back in London since 2016, at the head of GALUCHAT, the iteration of my international residential interior architecture and design practice, I enjoy nothing more than to apply the diverse experiences I have been lucky enough to gather on my travels, in the design solutions I offer. Working seamlessly from London, I undertake projects around the world – residential mainly – to answer tailored briefs in exclusive locations. I deliver custom interiors as unique as my clients, in the several languages I speak, with unwavering attention to detail, quality, elegance and function and a constant focus on managing, before exceeding, expectations.
